Call for Papers, Submission Types and Review Process

As many authors had difficulties in the format instructed by the conference, we would like to share more detail explanation without “ADD-INS” function. Please download the either of the file and check and fix the format of your paper. In addition, lease follow the instruction as explained below (such as page number). If your paper format is not correct, we would need to ask you revise again. Therefore, we are glad to accept your paper/abstract as soon as you fix without waiting for the deadline.

The deadline of all of the final abstract is on 12th June, 2015 (JST).
The deadline of all of the final full-paper is on 26th June, 2015 (JST).

Please log-in ConfTool and visit “Your Submission.” You can find “Final Upload” on the right-hand side. Please click it and follow the instruction.

All of contributors must follow the guideline for each submission type.

All of our documents shall be submitted through ConfTool. Please visit ConFtool as below and submit your paper or abstract (before submission, you must register in the conference through the ConfTool).

To contribute to ISAGA/JASAG2015, we provide three ways: Oral Presentation, Poster Presentation (with or without full-paper), and Game Play Session.

The structure of screening and publishing is depicted as below, followed by detail written information for each contribution.

All contributions shall follow Springer format. If you have difficulties to manage the format as you use Microsoft Office 2013 with Windows, etc., please check the bottom of this page where the instruction can be found.

 

1. Oral Presentation
All papers will be peer-reviewed double-blind and all accepted papers will be part of the conference CD or USB proceedings. Excellent full-papers will be candidates for part of the Post-proceeding Book that is planned to be published as an eBook after the conference (the committee is discussing this matter including with Springer). If your paper is selected as a candidate, you are asked to revise again after your presentation based on discussion in the conference.

The Guideline

  • Deadline for full paper submission is 13th April, 2015 (24:00 JST) <<extended>>, followed by notification of acceptance on May 22, 2015 and camera-ready full papers submission on June 26, 2015.
  • Paper shall be written in English.
  • Paper shall be about 12 pages including abstract, figures, tables, and references. Its maximum shall be 16 pages while minimum be 8 pagers. And paper shall have even number of pages (8, 10, 12, 14 or 16 pages).
  • Full-paper’s abstract shall be within 300 words.
  • Paper format shall follow the Springer format available from

    However, paper shall be submitted in the form of PDF (NOT in LaTeX style file nor Word).

  • The size of the pdf file must be within 10MB.
  • You will be required to fill in up to five keywords to submit your paper.

  • If paper cannot pass review screening, its author(s) can have a poster presentation during the conference.

2. Poster Presentation
Authors would like to have poster presentations have two ways to submit: to submit only extended abstract or to submit extended abstract and full-paper. Excellent full-papers will be candidates for part of the Post-proceeding Book that is planned to be published as an eBook after the conference (the committee is discussing this matter including with Springer). If your paper is selected as a candidate, you are asked to revise again after your presentation based on discussion in the conference.

The Guideline

For authors who submit only extended abstract

  • Deadline for extended abstract is on May 22, 2015, followed by notification of acceptance on May 31, 2015.
  • Extended abstract shall be written in English.
  • Extended abstract shall be at least 2 pages.

3. Game Play Session
All session proposal (extended abstract) on Game Play Session proposal will be peer-reviewed double-blind. ISAGA/JASAG2015 provides contributors with 60-minute or 120-minute session (if you would like to plan to have a session for 90 minutes, please apply to 120-minute session).

The Guideline

  • Deadline for extended abstract is on March 22, 2015, followed by notification as soon as possible (please be informed that the submission period is short [the deadline has been postponed from the original date).
  • Extended abstract that includes contents of game shall be at least 2 pages.
  • Extended abstract shall be written in English.
  • Extended abstract shall mention how long the session is planned to run.
